FAQ
- Q: Which name will be shown as the originator for developer and end-user named payouts?
- Developer: The name of the legal entity onboarded with Bridge will be submitted as the originator for wires. You may confirm this name in the top-left corner of the Bridge dashboard.
- End-User / Customer: The name of the customer (individual or business) onboarded with Bridge will be submitted as the originator for wires. You may confirm this name in the Customers tab of the Bridge dashboard, or using our Customers API.
- Q: Can I update my or my customers name for payouts?
- The name of the wire originator is not subject to change. Bridge is legally restricted to only send payouts originated under the legal entity name that we have onboarded.
- Q: When will more configurations be live?
- We plan to support developer-named ACH payouts in H1 2026. We do not have a timeline for other rails, but are working with our partners to add support.
- Q: How do I enable end-user named payouts for all my customers?
- To enable end-user named payouts for all customers, we recommend submitting only 5 PATCH requests per second, keeping in mind your global rate limit of 10 API calls per second.
- Q: Will the sending account number be the same as my Virtual Account?
- No, the sending account will not have the same account number as your Virtual Accounts, these are separate accounts.
