Transaction Minimums and Limits
We require a minimum transaction amount of 10 BRL with no maximum limit.🇧🇷 What we support
- Virtual Accounts - Accept BRL via Pix payments from 1st and approved 3rd parties.
- Transfers - Receive BRL via Pix payins from 1st and approved 3rd parties, make payouts to any recipient.
- Liquidation Addresses - Offramps from stablecoin or crypto to BRL via Pix.
- Supported Countires - We support PIX on/offramps for customers in +100 countries.
Related APIs
- Pix Endorsement required to use the BRL currency and Pix payment rail. If a customer already has the base endorsement, they should also have all of the info needed to grant the Pix endorsement.
- Important: As of June 15, 2026 new requirements take into effect for the PIX endorsement. Please reference BRL Migration Guide for more information.
- Create a BRL Virtual Account to onramp funds using a unique account number
- Create a Pix External Account to use as a Transfer or Liquidation Address offramp destination. We do not allow our BRL Virtual Accounts as an offramp destination.
Volume Limits
- Customer-specific volume limit of $500k USD-equivalent per month, with the following enhanced KYC/B required to increase (contact account manager to submit).
- Documentation should always be issued to the same legal entity that holds the account. If a document comes from a different entity within the corporate group (for example on financial capacity), it needs to clearly show the link between that entity and the account holder.
- Corporate Formation Documents Official
Corporate Bylaws or Articles of Incorporation (must include all consolidated amendments, if applicable). - Ownership Structure & Beneficial Ownership
- Individual Shareholders: Government-issued ID and proof of address for each ultimate beneficial owner holding more than 25% equity/voting rights.
- No Shareholders > 25%: If no individual meets this threshold, provide documentation for the top 4 largest shareholders on record.
- Corporate Shareholders: If an owner is a legal entity, provide full corporate documentation and beneficial ownership mapping down to the ultimate individual owners.
- Financial Capacity & Volume Verification
Stated target monthly processing volume, accompanied by supporting documentation verifying your capacity (e.g., audited or accountant-certified financials, operational bank statements showing processing flow, or a Total Payment Volume report summarizing volume by period).

- For transactions larger than 5,000,000 BRL, our fraud review team may request the following information. To avoid delays, we recommend collecting this from your customer before the transaction is initiated. Please provide the information concisely and include any supporting documentation.

- If a third party is involved, what is customer’s relationship with the sender?
- What is the source of funds?
Logistics
- Onramp minimum 20 RBL
- Offramp minimum 20 BRL
- 1st and 3rd party payouts supported
- 1st party payins supported, 3rd party payins supported from businesses.
- Pix on/offramps complete in ~5 minutes however may take up to 30 minutes for transactions >$50k.
- Non-Brazilian individual customers (determined by their tax ID) can access BRL offramps (payouts) however do not have access to BRL onramps (virtual accounts / deposits). Non-Brazilian business customers can access on and off ramps.
Best Practices:
- We currently do not support BR Codes with static amounts.
- When configuring an External Account., ensure that all Pix Keys generated via EVP are entered in lowercase.

Standard KYC individual customers can provide any missing data either using our Hosted KYC Link, or developers can submit directly via our Customers API.
